Dream Flare Film Festival
The turmoil that has brought to the world is universally shared with each and everyone of us. The hiatus has inspired us to start seeking the inner beauty in ourselves and what we can pull through physical limitations. Through the eyes of the nature, we start to rethink and redefine the connection between human societies and the earth. Not only do we examine the relationships in a holistic perspective, but also the surroundings that are near us. By looking closer to the subject matter, we find the most important part in this equation, the carrier of our souls – our mind and body.
This year, the Dream Flare Film Festival (DFFF) would like to take you to a tour of the mystical dimensions of the body’s seven fundamentals of light. There are the physical identity and grounding (RED), self-worth and creativity (ORANGE), self-esteem and confidence (YELLOW), love and compassion (GREEN), communication (BLUE), intuition and imagination (DARK BLUE), and awareness (PURPLE). Aristotle once said, "It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light." So we take this as this year's Dream Flare Film Festival centerpiece. Through films, we can bring light to the darkest moment of human life. And from seeing the darkest moment in the film, we can see hope. Focus on social realism; Dream Flare Film Festival aims to promote films around the world. We invite you to join this year's Dream Flare Film Festival online portion for two weeks of self-discovery through films from around the world.
The Dream Flare Film Festival partners with Taipei Film Festival (TFF) and Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) for this year's eclectic program: six films, two directors Q&A sessions, and one roundtable discussion will be available on online platform Asiania From November 10 to 21, 2021. *Only those currently located in North America(Canada, the United States) will be able to watch the featured films.
